Does anyone know where I can find documentation on the Open Data Metadata format and conventions?

Thank you Kati! That’s quite helpful. Can you please advise how I can pull metadata for a dataset on Open Data? I’m sorry if I missed that, I poked around and didn’t see links on dataset pages. Thank you!

Good point! We should add this link cernopendata-client — cernopendata_client 0.3.0 documentation
to all dataset pages.

This is great, thanks. I’ll follow these docs. I was also thinking if there was a link next to the dataset link on the page, which would just show/download metadata, that would be fantastic. But at least having a handle on the CLI is great.

Adding /export/json to URL shows the underlying json of any specific record.
E.g. https://opendata.cern.ch/record/24130/export/json
